INSIDE SALES: TURF AND OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT

Power Tractor in Langley is seeking a friendly experienced salesperson to handle retail and professional sales of Lawn & Garden and Turf Equipment.  Previous hands-on landscaping experience an asset as our clients depend on our knowledge backed expertise.  You will be responsible for Stihl, Greenworks, and Husqvarna, and some KIOTI product lines. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

• Provide prompt and professional customer service to walk in customers

• Generate leads and develop relationships with customers

• Maintain targeted profit margins by using value added sales approach, and upselling parts and services

• Create accurate sales quotes and invoices, and collect payments

• Register equipment with manufactures for warranty.

• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure product information on our website is thorough and current, and daily social media posts are on point.

• Participate in inventory stocking strategies and manage purchasing of special order items.

• Liaise with suppliers regarding progress of orders

• Assist with organization of inventory management for all three brands

• Attend periodic manufacturer sales/product training where applicable

• Represent Power Tractor at occasional promotional events and trade shows.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Computer skills 

• Attention to detail 

• Hands on landscaping experience an asset

• Self motivated with a willingness to self study to become an expert of the features and benefits of the various brands we represent, and maintain current knowledge of competitors products for comparison

Permanent Full Time Position

Shift varies based on Season – some weekend shifts required

Base Salary plus commission with target earnings of $70-100k
